Thanks Bart, good to get feedback. It may be a while before I do new tuts folks, as real life interferes! However this course covers basics and I will update them if there are major changes to features. I honestly believe that ‘newbies’ will find this one of the best ways to learn Blender3D. Music Video Blender 3d and Creative commons music
Hi All, This music video is made using the techniques you learn on the complete Blender 3d course. The music is from the cc mixter creative commons website. http://www.ccmixter.org/
Creative commons music is free to download and use in your projects. You need to check the owners conditions, often this is non commercial use, and asks for attribution (you will see in my video I acknowledge the mixer; norelpref, and artist, Lisa DeBenedictis in the credits). I will be happy to post here your own creations! Add a comment and post a link.
Last chance to get your name in credits of a proffesional movie!
The Blender Peach movie project has reached its target of pre selling 1000 dvd’s to help funding. You can still pre-order at a discounted price and get your name on the credits if you do it before october 1st! Orange Blog here…http://peach.blender.org/index.php
Yafray Angular maps and appending textures
This video was on a commercial cd I made some time ago, it is still very relevant. It covers using Yafray to render from Blender. I will add further videos later that include caustics setup (Caustics are the light effects you get commonly when light shines through glass or water)
Files used in the yafray tutorials linked below

Plant studio examples rendered in yafray from Blender
Just a couple of example images I made while experimenting with plant studio. As you can see they are not ‘high res’ but still can be very usefull. In fact the resolution is probably low enough to be used in the Blender game engine? (attack of the mutant geraniums?!)
And another example,

Plant generator for Blender 3D. Make plant models
I wrote some time ago about this program, here is a video tutorial on how to create a forest of plants for Blender 3D!
Superb Blender Animation, out of the Box
This animation really shows what can be achieved by one person using Blender. AndyD has done a great job here, be encouraged everybody! The techniques are the same as you learn on the course here. You really can make professional looking cartoons using Blender 3D.
